The Authenticity of using random images
Most of you have seen this webpage before, maybe not? It compares Obey to Fuct. But the funny thing is, one guy lifting an image gives little to no protection from another guy lifting an image. It all comes down to personal morals, ethics and credibility and doing it right or doing it wrong. The wrong way would be to use an image without crediting the source, paying a license.
It invites all sorts of problems.

I just think people have gotten lazy. I like shep's stuff but find it lazy regardless of any bullshit meaning he might inject into it or think he is. I was watching a youtube video of kaws that ENM had posted and the mother fucker was putting on a show of sponge bob and the smurfs with their eyes crossed out. I mean what the fuck? That's not even making it yours... it's just taking pop culture imagery someone else created and people identify with and scribbling some shit on it and calling it yours.
Also Mike is right. I love print mafia, but if a newbie was posting pictures of stars it would generally be frowned upon.
As noted in another thread, Goodtimes obviously stole the word Kook from surfers—but he flipped it horizontally—so it's cool.
If anyone else had done it though, it would be uncool.
