A few months later we were at my friends house listening to Misfits Earth A.D and I noticed he had Ride The Lightning by Metallica. I put it on and was instantly sold on Metal. Fight Fire With Fire was way more intense than anything else ant hardcore band at the time was putting out. That songs changed my entire path. I started pretty much only listening to metal at that point.

I really, really want Metallica to do well. They meant a lot to me for many years. I just don't think they have it in them anymore. Kind of a bummer.
I was really into Misfits, Black Flag, Crucifucks, etc. Then I heard Blitzkrieg. I was hooked.

I haven't listened to anything after And, Justice for All... barely listened to that.

Bought RTL when it was new, and KEA when it was a year old. I say no to the new one. They should just give up the ghost, but I imagine there are lots of folks who are making a very nice living off them who won't let that happen.
    Super-absorbant, for those messy spills:

Kinda the opposite for me with Metallica. Friends of mine played all the first releases to death and I could stand them anymore. Haven't lost interest in metal, but I can't stand Metallica.
