also, here in california we have this amazing thing called 'state income tax' which eats another 10% and sales tax..another 8.5%.

so a normal person is really fucked here tax-wise.

as far as I can tell the taxes I have paid to california are well spent saving the homes of retards that build them in fire zones or on snacks for illegal alien gangbangers from el salvador.

Its something like 26% combined fed and province for income tax, but goes higher past a certain income

then 7% provincial sales tax on some stuff (not food)
and 5% GST - gouging and screwing tax - goes to the feds.

$288 every 3 months for health care.

But you can work cash almost everywhere, and the income tax can be managed if you have a business, cause the corporate tax rate is much lower.

we get $100 every 3 months as a GST rebate, and now we get $100 from the province to offset their carbon tax.

I am in the highest tax bracket in Canada, plus I pay all those same sales taxes, so it works out to something like 42% of my income goes to the government.

Americans pay the lowest taxes in the western world! And you can write off your mortgage interest!

In New York, if you work in the five boroughs, you can add on a special NYC CITY tax as well as the state tax. You know, because living & working in NYC isn't expensive enough,...
