Typical pattern. Happened to me too.

I don't come close (even if you combine my wife's income with mine) to making $250,000 a year. I'm getting by. And yes, I have no problems with those people, because they worked hard to earn that amount of money.
But I don't lose sleep at night knowing the government is going to take a larger slice of their pie, forcing them to have to think twice and get the basic model BMW without all the bells and whistles so they can still afford to make payments on their cottage on the lake.
That isn't a "Fuck you" to people with money, it's more of a "really? These are the problems you are going to have to deal with? And?"

i don't recall obama saying that he would raise taxes on the $250+K crowd...i remember him saying that we would not LOWER their taxes a couple debates back...thus, they "could afford to pay more".

"more" not meaning additional, but "more" meaning more than people below $250k.

i seem to remember him clarifying, but i could be wrong.

obama is reducing taxes on people 200K and lower.

250 K doesnt change.

above 250 tax rates go back to Clinton era rates. He's simply repealing the Bush tax cuts.

He's "paying for" the middle class tax cuts with these upper class rate increases.
