They're both descent guys, I agree or disagree with each of them on 50% of their platform. 90% of what politicians promise in a campaign doesn't happen anyway.

I'm voting based on executive experience, and prior to this race, neither of them had any.

The operative part of that phrase is, "prior to this race".

For each candidate, the largest budget they've ever managed, the largest operation they've ever been the executive of is, in fact, their own presidential campaign.

The only test we have of how either of them will perform in an executive management role is how well they've performed in the role of managing their own campaigns.

Obama has shown himself to have superior executive management skills in the only example of an executive management role that either of them has a track record in.

McCain, on the other hand, made a poor choice in his first hire, with the under-qualified Sarah Palin, and poorly handled the bailout crisis. Though I opposed the bailout, both of these candidates supported it. So the question for me is, who managed the crisis and lead their party better. Obama's methodology showed he would not politicize crisis, and knew how to rely on advisors. McCain used it for political grandstanding and furthermore, though it was a Republican bill, and he is the Republican candidate, he proved he could not even lead his own party when the first bill was killed by his own Republican colleagues.

I'm still waiting for a Bloomberg endorsement.

McCain would be lucky to manage breakfast, let alone the country. the dude is NOT ALL THERE.

Obama will inherit ted kennedy's 'machine' so will probably be able to manipulate Washington fairly well. Not to mention, the vast number oif anti-hillary-ites who are so relieved she lost. he wil;have a good power base.

"I'm voting based on executive experience, and prior to this race, neither of them had any."

So, you're still writing in Bloomberg, right?

have you ever went over a friends house to eat
and the food just aint no good
i mean the macaroni's soggy the peas are mushed
and the chicken tastes like wood
so you try to play it off like you think you can
by sayin that youre full
and then your friend says momma he's just being polite
he aint finished uh uh that's bull
so your heart starts pumpin and you think of a lie
and you say that you already ate
and your friend says man there's plenty of food
so you pile some more on your plate
while the stinky foods steamin your mind starts to dreamin
of the moment that it's time to leave
and then you look at your plate and your chickens slowly rottin
into something that looks like cheese
oh so you say that's it i got to leave this place
i dont care what these people think
im just sittin here makin myself nauseous
with this ugly food that stinks
so you bust out the door while its still closed
still sick from the food you ate
and then you run to the store for quick relief
from a bottle of kaopectate
and then you call your friend two weeks later
to see how he has been
and he says i understand about the food
baby bubbah but we're still friends
with a hip hop the hippie to the hippie
the hip hip a hop a you dont stop the rockin
to the bang bang boogie
say up jump the boogie to the rhythm of the boogie the beat
i say hank can ya rock
can ya rock to the rhythm that just dont stop
can ya hip me to the shoobie doo
i said come on make the make the people move

I have not been on a picnic in like 10 years. Where the fuck do you all get time for shit like that? And eating outdoors is bullshit. Potato salad is good without celery or onions. It should be kept refrigerated and eaten indoors. Deviled eggs are sent straight from Valhalla.

McCain appears to lack flexibility and reason. He'll do more of the "stay the course" type of shit the Bush admin did. Fuck that. adapt and improvise needs to be the new way.
