I watched the hearings last week on NY1 (was home sick all day) but haven't heard anything more about it.

I think Bloomberg is doing/has done a lot of great things for this city, but this nonsense, if passed, will set a standard for the future I don't think I want to exist.

BUT also, for what it's worth, all those loopholes were spelled out on the ballot when we voted on the proposition two years ago (or whenever it was). So if you're just going to go around voting for things you don't fully understand, well then you get what you deserve...right? (playing devil's advocate here.)
