Well, I don't disagree with you about the people getting overly excited about Obama. MANY will be disappointed when he doesn't live up to the HOPE and CHANGE message in some amazing superhero way. I like him, and I am voting for him, but I am keeping my expectations in check.

That said, I think the starry-eyed Obama-lovers are actually just a vocal minority - they're easy to make fun of (and rightfully so), but don't make the mistake of lumping all the obama supporters into an easy-to-mock group. I think there are a lot of people that really want governmental change, and hope to get it from Obama, but they understand that that process is glacial, and that he is, after all, just a politician.

I get a little distressed at a lot of intelligent people that suck up everything he says like its actually going to happen...or jump all over one side for saying they're Christian, you know dinosaurs and caveman type stuff. But Senator Obama can go on about how he's deeply religious and nobody says shit. I like fairness..

I think it's pretty awesome that Obama has done what he has done by pretty much sticking to his game plan and not letting Mc Cain get to him.
Which just makes McCain look even more disperate and unstable. Then
the choice that McCain made for Vice President just added and easy target for the media. This economy is hurting for some type of change
and I don't think Mc Cain has made a very good case for change
