as i've said before i grew up with the comic-con but.......... it's been a sh*t-long time since i attended ( i think the last time was the first year they had it at the convention center ). a lot of the same geek elements are there, only now they are a million strong. every aisle was f*cking shoulder to shoulder of geeky-lemmingness with an unlimited well of disposable income .

Comic-con is about comics? I thought it was about lowbrow artists, costumes and urban vinyl limited editions. I guess you learn something new everyday.

nope. was it yesterday ??? most of the popular panels are pretty hard to get into and i don't have the time or the patience to stand in line ( this whole place is and endless stream of lines! i've talked to people that were standing in line and had no clue what it was for. they just figured it had to be important since other people were standing in line ). so far the only panels i've gone to were " GLBT superhero fandom " and " artist as entreprenuer " that tara mcphearson was part of.
