any thoughts on whether Harvey Dent died or not? Maybe this has been discussed but isn't it a little strange that he survived a car accident but then died when he fell off of a balcony? I think two face isn't dead, eh?

They seemed to set up two things that suggest he's not dead: 1) a fall from that height isn't necessarily fatal; and 2) the characters aren't afraid to stage a fake funeral for strategic purposes. I think he'll be back.

i agree. I mean after all they faked gordon's death to their advantage. I wouldn't suggest that he should be an integral part of any other batman film plots but perhaps the same sort of thing they did with doctor crane in this one.

I may have mentioned this before but I don't really think Two-Face is dead.
I think the public memorial was just to explain to the people that Harvey Dent, their white knight and hero had died a hero. Saves them explaining what he became and the people losing hope.

I think Two Face has been moved to Arkham and from what I'm hearing Aaron Eckhart signed on for two flicks...

That scene was cool when he flipped the coin and shot the driver.
Kinda interesting how he said the whole bit about dying a hero or living to become the villain cause he kinda did both.

Hope it beats Titanic.

finally saw it yesterday at the imax.

ruled, but, didn't live up to the hype in my opinion. too much talky talky, too little kickin ass. i have to watch it and iron man again because i think iron man still might be better.

couldn't care less what happens with the rachel/catwoman character. i really hope they don't add a catwoman - just sick of her at this point.

what interested me more was, is gordon's kid being set up as robin?

I caught it last night. Great film/sequences throughout. Just a little too long in my opinion.

Me liked it, but I hope the next one features bat-mite, the dog that plays "Rex" would be a cool bat dog too.

i just went to it about 5 days ago and seen it on the imax...... damn .... i didnt know they shot it so that u could watch it full screan on the imax, just crazzzyyyy good. over looking the citys was just awsomeness. ya i hope 2face comes back for sure. im pretty sure they will not have his face CGI'ed though i noticed that as the movie went on his face got more black and scabbed soooo in the end if they have him back im thinking his face will be a black burned up looking thing with makeup insead of doing it up with computers

My only complaint is that Christian Bale's caricature of Clint Eastwood's voice while in the Batman getup was annoying. Totally unnecessary.

Otherwise, it was fantastic. Ledger was brilliant. The Two Face make up/effects were perfect.

I dug it.

I agree. I think Christian Bale should try a Charles Nelson Reilly impression as the next batman persona... or snagglepuss.
