loopt uses the gps and cell towers to locate your phone, and you can update what you're doing. would be super beneficial for big cities to be like "oh hey, my friends are getting coffee, i'll go join them" or other stuff like that. would have REALLY helped us at flatstock this year to meet up with everyone afterwards, but yeah, they came too late.
only thing i'm disappointed about loopt is that you have to open the app to relocate yourself, it doesn't go automatically. another thing i don't like is having to update that I'm at a restaurant or somewhere i go alot everytime i go there. It should know i'm in el burrito or the gourmet shop and just say that.

pandora is a pretty neat app, but the ability to see concerts in your area based on your choosing is a killer idea.
