I'm hoping they make some cool apps, like a decent mail client, the ability to quickly turn wifi on and off, a proper native SSH client, and the ability to tether it.

But I have to say, it's been handy.

My wife thought the same thing about her blackberry. She loved the phone until I got my iPhone.

Now she's a little disappointed in her own phone.

the onyl one i found thats decent is "aurora feint", its kind of cheesy when it gets deep into the RPG aspect but the tetris style block smashing is great, and its great that that aspect is tied into leveling your character and buying shit. Just going for the high score in tetris type games gets old fast, this game has still got me addicted after a few days of playing.

how long does the blackberry battery last? i've actually been pretty surprised how long the iphone battery lasts. i was on the phone at least 4 hours yesterday and i still have about 80% charge left.

if you have your "fetch new data" set to every 15 or 30 minutes that will kill your battery fast. i have mine set at every hour.

My BB lasted about 6 days but it also has a mode where you can have it shut off for X amount of time a day - mine shuts off automatically at 11pm and goes back on at 7am.

I just set the Fetch to hourly so I hope that helps as it's yet to last 2 days

yeah i don't really have to charge mine all that often. that rules that there is an app to shut it off automatically at certain times.

when i had fetch data every 15 minutes i thought my phone went bad, the battery lasted like less than one day or max 24 hours i think.

Honestly, what's making (Settings > WiFi "On") go too slow for you? Keeping in mind I keep WiFi off 99% of the time unless I need it and know I'm in a WiFi area.
