no not at all. i rarely get offended.

i'm not smart enough to have a blackberry, iphones are for simple people like me (and lame hipsters who deserve to have their heads bashed in with a bag of iphones). i'm being serious too. it took me four hours of troubleshooting and finally having a friend log onto my computer via screen share to get my PUSH email accounts set up right last night.

but really for what it does, $200 for an 8gig iphone is a pretty decent deal. i haven't bought a phone or mp3 player that was less than $100 ever, and the iphone is both for $199. so in reality it is a pretty good deal. i need to look into the new plan prices, i've been hearing bad things about it. the original release price was stupid high though.

I doubt i'll get a new iphone unless i break mine or they come out with one that has a better camera.

I love everything but the camera. My RAZR had a better camera and you need an assload of light to make this one take good pictures.

I picked one up today and so far really happy with it. I had looked at another blackberry but the iphone just had more fun stuff for about the same price.

As far as consumer level phones go I don't know how you can say that the iPhone is not a great phone.

For enterprise business you would obviosly go with a blackberry as that's what is supported, but for general consumer who wants a 'smart' phone I can't see how the iPhone wouldn't be at the top of the list.

the best app so far is the remote. they need to include some IR remote function on the next incarnation so that I can control the whole home theater system.
