i got the update i think, but im not seeing a ton of changes. whats supposed to be different? i mean, i have apps now, and thats pretty cool. but the phone and contacts and all that seems exactly the same.

fun app for the music types or the people who want to annoy folk, get "BAND". i got it not realising it was $9, but im going to annoy the crap out of people with my finger drumming, bass rocking, and guitar shredding.

i've downloaded a motorcycle racing game and brain challenge that were both 10 bucks i think and a bunch of free games.

i'm totally stoked.

I'm going to look for BAND. I've bought Scrabble and the MLB app, which shows highlights from every game.

Pandora radio is great.

So, after all this hype I decided to get an iPhone since they were introduced to Canada on friday. I waited until today to let the assholes stand in line.

So, yeah. It's kinda interesting, but really, it isn't what it could be. First off, it has bluetooth but can only connect to headsets? What. The. Fuck. My old phone can be used as a modem for my laptop, and I could transfer files to it and from it, and I could take photos and send them to my laptop as well.

The iPhone? Nope. Can't do any of that shit.

The camera is actually worse than my old phone as well.

Now, it's not like I'm out any money. I got it for free due to upgrade points. But still, this "revolutionary" phone is less useful to me than a 2 year old Sony Ericsson. What the hell, Apple?

yeah, as much as i love the iphone they are doing some stuff completely backwards.

like for one, why can't i text a pic to someone? whey can;t i bluetooth over a pic to my computer? why can't i do wifi calling from home like other carriers (this would make me happy since i get little to no reception at home).

but over all it is really rad and really simple for me to use and learn how to use and for the most part i love the interface (which it seems like most other companies are copying)

i don't care if it's an iphone or another one with similar features, this new generation of cell phones rules.

The no picture in text messaging is wierd as it seems its so simple to implement, my theory is that it's more an issues with other phones software than iphone to iphone...

but thats an uneducated guess
