Default Hey, Folks that use Endicia

any recommendation on scale/printer to use?

is it worth it to just get the starter package they offer or better cheaper to buy it elsewhere?

you have to get a printer that will print three part labels to get the discounts on delivery confirmation. I have a Dymo twin turbo... i dig it cuz it can do the three part labels but also can print one part labels for other side for shit like customs labels or envelopes or temporary labels or whatever.

Any old scale will do in a pinch but you get what you pay for, same as anything else.

my advice, don't skimp on the printer

you cant get a zebra and print on a 4x6 and still get the discount?! they have delivery confirmation on them. I was thinking about upgrading.

check ebay for the specific model of printers endicia sells. thats where i got mine. along with a scale that works well and was only $25 or so.

i think im just going to order from Staples, they have some good instant coupons on their site for the Dymos right now. im going to get the twin, might as well get the better one to begin with.

now, im curious...ive heard people say Endicia sucks for International shipping... whats the word behind that? i finally just downloaded and Endicia for Mac and am dicking around, i dont even see a dropdown for the International option.

Dazzle is the windows version. stay as far away as you can.

International shipping is a touchy subject. If you are shipping first-class international, get a the zebra they sell. You can pump out the labels on that. If you want to stick with the dymo, for all international orders you will be printing out a sheet of paper and taping it on. Or you can find some sticky back, inkjet paper and print on that. That's what i do (and why im thinking about upgrading to the zebra. Anything faster than that for international need to be printed out on paper (not the zebra) from my understanding.

Just paste an international address in, and it should switch over.

Gosh i hope that makes sense.
