yeah, that doesn't seem to bother me. 300 was terrible but the characters are gonna be hard to get right and the pirate parts are pretty important. too much to fit in. gonna blow but i'd be happy to be proved wrong. we'll see

I think they could've improved the costumes just a bit.

look at the Moth. c'mon. I know the pic is taken exactly from the artwork from the original comic panel but they could've ditched the moth wings.

i heard they're doing the pirate story as an animated feature, direct to dvd.

will probably be integrated with the feature somewhere down the road on special edition dvd lane.

i've heard that the pirate dvd will be released the same day the movie hits the theatres.
i've also heard that they're doing the whole 'under the hood' story on dvd as well.
