i heard a piece on NRP about a month or so ago about the INTENSE desire of American car buyers for hybrid cars. the wait it ridiculously long here and the cars are usually sold before they arrive at the lot. right?
so what did Ford say to the question of if/when they will increase production of their super successful line? Nope. We want to keep demand high. We have no plans to increase production in the next 5 years. with a poor business plan and environmental attitude like that? they deserve to go under. for real.

keep demand so high that only a fraction of the people who want your product can attain your product based on production only and not price is a bit cock assed. add to that that they continue to churn out highly shit cars on mileage and engine quality? and you are a struggling company in a highly competitive global market?
