Front page of the Metro basically had "MANKIND DOOMED"* as the headline and a jolly story about how we have raped the planet, and killed off most of the animals.
Inside was your typical 'lighter' fair, i.e. the stabbings and earthquakes and general global insanity. * I am paraphrasing but it wasn't far off.
