I'm getting ready to buy a Scroll saw. Anyone have any recommends? I don't know anything about tools. I just need something that can cut wood in intricate shapes and word on the street is I need a scroll saw.

Yeah if you got the cash get delta.

for my table saw i got the middle of the road Hitachi. Since i only use it a few dozen times a year i really didn't see the need to get the best of the best.

never buy that $99-$150 crap from lowes or home depot, you will regret it on the first cut.

Second most used. Can't do trim without it. 3rd best is a router, 4th is belt sander.

Hand tools....drill, skill saw, jigsaw.

Most important...change your blades on your saws for the job, keep them sharp, and don't rip with a fine tooth or you just create the worlds best woodburning tool.

I like american made tools. We have some Dewalt stuff that is killer, Porter Cable.

i love my 36" belt sander. Super pro model i bought off an old shop neighbor that was a cabinet maker when he upgraded. Used it for squeegee sharpening for a long time hopefully when i get my 10x12 shed made it will go in there.
