Apples & oranges really- The Inuit don't club seals for fur, they spear or shoot them for food.
And they use every part of the seal. They make floats out of the stomach. They make boots from the skin. They eat every part but the gall bladder. None of that seal goes to waste.
I have personally seen Inuit eat seal eyes, and squeeze the contents of seal intestines into their mouths.
