Default Found some Milk

Hey-

I was cleaning out my refridgerator the other day, and found an old container of some Borden 2% milk. It has to be at least 2 or 3 years old. I know it is supposed to only last 1 month to a year... but what are the chances of it still being drinkable??

Also, I found an old block of cheddar with a the wrapper still on it (about as old as the milk)... is eating it and not getting botulism it an option, or should I just get some new cheese?

Thanks, in advance for saving me some time and a potential headache.

Milk = No
Cheese = Yes (I've heard some cheese nerd say, "Cheese never goes bad, it only ages.")

I would say that spending $7 on new milk and cheese is a better idea than food poisoning

mix the cheese and milk in a bowl....the goodness of the cheese will negate the badness of the milk.

throw both in a blender, then feed the cheese milkshake to a friend. If he doesn't puke, it's OK.

If he pukes use the pressure washer

One time I poured a container of milk that had turned to cottage cheese... it was one of those scarred for life type things. Kind of like seeing a herd of sewer roaches in your apartment building boiler room.
