awwww. that's the sadnesss. dysplasia is a little tougher than arthritis to treat too, i think. if she lets you do the stretches and massages and that helps, that's good. and those supplements are helpful often as well, but dang. i'm sorry.

also, theres a lady i know that used rekki and accupuncture to help pain in her dawgs.. dunno.. id give it a shot.

my family had a goldie that had it from birth...really sucks.
first evident when he would run and try to jump a small step when a puppy...he had to drag his legs up. sad.

she lives out near me.. but, id think in the city there would be some help.. i can get her contact info on friday, she works at the post office.. most rekki peeps will work on animals.. or refer you to someone who can..

John, that really sucks.
My 14 year lab ahs been going through some of the same stuff. She doesn't seem to be in much pain thankfully, but she slips a lot more than she used to, and has a really difficult time on stairs. We've had her on glucosamene for a while, and it does seem to help some. But I don't know about that pain, alternative methods might work well
