Bought this gem at Scratch Records while I was in Vancouver, because the album cover was so god damn cool
Pretty tight slice of the old school.

Just came across this via Shad K's blog. Mos and BT go over "75 Bars" verbatim (kinda like when that clip of Mos analyzing Doom's Madvillainy lyrics surfaced. That was a gem.):
Al, something about how that Brace guy puts stuff together reminded me of my buddy Tim Flex's Nylon Rhythm Machine project... don't know if you'd agree from the few tracks on his myspace but I'm throwing in his link anyhow Nylon Rhythm Machine on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads
heres a specific sample from his site that's closer maybe http://hihat.beathut.com/nylonrhythm...white-wind.mp3 (features Lootpack's Wildchild)
Flex is a nonstop cheesefest by the way - he rides a tigerstriped Ateam van with a neon katana in search of some 80s synth frequency that will free the unicorn spirit in us all
EDIT* I should add that the artwork is done by a very talented friend and GPer Sam Chivers

no that stuff is quite polished I agree, can't link you to the raw stuff that made the connection in my head...
and if I'm honest Al, this is another thread I dip into with an interest but not an expert knowledge or connoisseur's ear - I'm strictly "I know what I like - I think"
!fuck me I just spelled connoisseur correctly first time!
Anyone hear this?
Some solid works on here. Alex was asked to produce a bunch of tracks for the Blueprint 3 and none of them were chosen, so he released this album so folks could here his work.
Seems like design isn't the only industry that has spec work going on...
