hey mono_666 - yeah it's not too hard. i just learned this stuff a few years ago and it took me a while to figure it out...you just have to remember certain steps. i'm sure there's a ton of people on this site who are WAY more tech-savvy than i am who can explain this much better than i can....

there's a pop-up window where you can set the dpi(dots per inch) right before scanning your image(you can change it later if you need when saving the file). when you're done messing around with your art digitally, you can make your art 8x10" by clicking on CANVAS SIZE under IMAGE. when you're done making things fit how you want that way, go to SAVE AS under FILE. from there you can change the format to .tiff or .eps from the drop down box.

again, it's best to find someone who's good at photoshop to show you the steps. if i didn't have the help of my graphic designer cousin, evil Alice, Ruthless Cow and a few others i'd still be trying to figure this stuff out.
