Bobby .... most people arent that production savvy

speaking of dpi and lpi ...
if any of you artists aren't super production savvy, you should know that if your art is crisp line art (no grey tones whatsoever, and is raster/photoshop rather than vector/illustrator), and you want it to print crisply, do NOT send in a 300 dpi greyscale tiff. greyscale images will have a soft halftone from the printer around the edges of your art. to avoid this, convert from greyscale mode to bitmap mode using threshold and save as a tiff. when converting to bitmap, go to either 600 dpi or even 1200 dpi. file size will be small, so don't worry about that. just don't keep it at 300 when you convert, or you'll get jagged edges.
