    bowie was always incredibly stiff on stage. he just stood there looking outrageous and "sang". even that old footage of ziggy stardust is incredibly static. the result was more anthony newley than mick jagger.

    i think that's part of why bowie went so visual, he knew he just stood there and couldn't move.

    marc bolan was an amazing stage showman. i saw him running stage slide clean across the stage on his knees to land his mouth upon mickey finn's crotch with a big juicy smootch. match THAT, ziggy!
