Going to the UC tonight to catch the Wings/Blackhawks. Chicago has got the Wing's number so far this year. I'm eager to see Kane/Toews play. Go Wings!

Oh man! The Battle of Alberta was off the hook last night! Best hockey game I've watched this season. Both teams were fast, hard hitting and dirty, Garon and Kipper made some insanes and the Organist was playing AC/DC riffs.

the wings/hawks game is pretty entertaining so far, wings are down 3-1 at the 2nd break...toews and kane both have goals, and three ex wings have points.
zetterbergs assist on hudlers goal extends his scoring streak to 17 games.

tooooo many penalties. man, some petty little shit was called in that game. that slash call on ruutu was a total joke.
mickey redmond said he could never have played in the league the way it is today. he said all the old timers would be suspended by now.

Yeah, the penalties were ridiculous, but what else is new?
Kane and Toews are just awesome. Really. The UC is absolutely the best road place to see the Wings play. The atmosphere is great. Chicago LOVES to hate Detroit...but there's alot of good natured ribbing going on. Good times.

word is that Avery said something stupid about Blake's cancer, Tucker or Blake didn't say that to the media... one of Avery's own team mates is supposed to have told the media because he thought it was a shitty thing to say... Tucker and Blake were happy with just getting him back during the game...
