I saw a priest get his ass beat at an Eagles game. Swear to Satan.

I skated a few times with Gaetz. He had a hammer of a shot. He was really good friends with mark Wolf. They were drafted together. I played a season with Wolfie in the RHI. Gaetz came out and skated with us. Wolfie was easily the best hockey player I ever skated with ( Sharks included) He could make me look like a chump without even trying. He never got into the NHL though. He was in Sharks camp for like 4 years in a row. Not sure why he never got all the way up.

Same with Darren Coulborne. He was atop draft pick for Detroit. Never played with the big club I don't think. He played in the Olympics for Team Canada. He was really good. One of my proudest moments was robbing him in camp on a short one-timer. He was all alone inside the far face off circle. The pass came across and I had to get from the short post alllll the way across. I did a full split to get my leg over. He stuffed it right into my leg pad. He couldn't believe I stopped it. Nobody on the rink could. Pretty awesome.

i had a great time watching the goaltenders last night. first time i have ever really watched the game from that POV, right on the goal line, so i REALLY got to watch those guys work. fxck, even when i was what i call in shape i couldn't do what those guys do.

that one wraparound that osgood saved was right in my face. it was awesome to see that skate hit the left post a millisecond before the puck got stuffed there. then he made a spectacular toe save on cheechoo. nabby made some great ones too, but it's hard for me to get excited about that. i did notice that this one drunkass wings fans was getting on nabbys nerves because he skated out and glared at him a couple of times in the third period. fxck, the guy was on my nerves.

whatever happened to gaetz? i know he had problems, but i always hoped it worked out OK for him somehow.

He was in a DUI related accident. Had some brain damage. Never could come back from it. Man, could he ever still shoot the puck though. OOOF!

I don't think so. Maybe after the beginning of the year. My work schedule and girlfriend schedule won't allow for it till like March or so.

Not sure?

Man, Chicago folks have got to be really happy with Toews and Kane right about now. Those kids are playing really good hockey. Things looking brighter in Chicago for sure.

I'll be dammed if LeClaire isn't playing really well in Columbus. 3 shutouts in 4 starts? Damn.
