The Sharks are primed. For the first tije in a long time I'm not worried about any team they play. I think they can beat any of them. The Ducks are the only minor concern. They are also playing in prime form.
That said, man, the West is going to be awesome to watch this post season.

Sharks are looking mad good. My pick for the cup this year.
I leave for 5 weeks, and the Canucks go in the tank... man, it doesn't look good. The Avs look great. That Hejduk/Stasny/Forsberg line is fierce.

Given the Sharks recent collapses in the post season, I'll believe it when I see it.
And as for the Shots on Goal thing, sure it helps, but I've seen many a game where Detroit has lost on minimal opposing shots. But regardless, if Lilja can keep his head in every game for a full 60 minutes I'll be impressed.

Right!!!
A side note to this horrible weird season for the Kings. The kid they have playing goal was nothing short of INSANE tonight against the Ducks. He made some seriously next level saves. He had one where he knocked the puck ( that was 100% going in the goal) out of mid air with his stick that was simply amazing. God damn amazing. Looks like the Kings will have at least 3 legit keepers trying to earn a spot next season. Kind of awesome to see for a change.

I think the Canucks should see if Phil Esposito can still lace them up. They're just terrible these last few games. They play like Markus does his interviews. No fire, once the other guys rev up. Luongo may just stay in Florida with the new kid.
In a way it could be good - this might just get it over quicker and bring on an early summer. On the other hand, Friday I'm bringing all the gear out of the dark where it has been recharging for weeks.
