well although it was a tough puck, Toskala had to have seen it bouncing and played his body rather than glove hand in front of it... at least McCabe didn't score it... which he has done like 3 times this season...

Being one to admit when I am wrong I will go on record as saying.... I was wrong about thinking the Sharks should have kept Toskala and traded Nabby.
There... I said it. Although that goal has nothing to do with that admission. Nabby has proved this season through his play that he is in the top 5 goalies in the world. Period.

I can say with 100% honesty that in over 30 years of playing goal I have never let in a shot from outside the blue line. But then again fundamentals were always my strongest point. And I have let in some really shit goals but, that is just.... unreal.

i absolutely believe that. that's what makes it so amazing to me when shxt like that happens.
when the wings won the cup in 2002 they were down 2-0 in their first round series and 1-0 in game 3 against vancouver when cloutier gave up a goal on a lidstrom 100 footer with like 10 seconds left in the 2nd period. changed the game, changed the series, changed the wings playoff run. i remember cloutier saying it happened to the best of them, and me thinking, no it doesn't. your f'n sharks look tough. then again, they better be. ha ha.

Cloutier looked outstanding last night against the Sharks. Weird to think he was all but done in the NHL 3 weeks ago.

I hadn't watched a game in 3 weeks, and I reluctantly watched last nights oil v phoenix game... that was amazing!! I hadn't seen a game that intense all year.. not even close.. I wish every game was played with that kind of fire, totally entertaining regardless of the outcome.
