i would argue that it was his team that was keeping them in the playoffs. I am not sayin he is bad, but during that season........especially being in NYC and with Bettman...........they totally over hyped Richter. the rest of the team was all -star...he was average

The wings domination is done! The rest of the NHL has caught on to the formula, the one that Bowman made work.....Stack your team with Euro-players and let them lead.
Look at Montreal, my home team. They have padded their team with Easter European players and they are doing insanely better than they have since they one the cup in 93.

....Plus the new league regulations are kinda wimpy, the game is not as aggressive as it you to be......not as much muscling around.
