    Default iphone question

so im usually pro apple but this iphone question is perplexing me.

how does AT&T propose they are gonna deliver full web content (full graphics etc) to the iphone browser when using the same network they have a hard time delivering mobile optimized content (stripped down text based pages) to my blackberry?

Sometimes accessing text only webpages on my blackberry takes for fuckin ever. Are people not going to flip when they buy their $600 iphone and have to wait half hour to load a page?

yeah, i'd heard that at&t doesn;t even offer all the services that the iPhone offers.

but that was just a rumor in passing.

I'll get one when i can use it with sprint.

i dunno about them not offering the service, they offer unlimited data and edge email, not sure what else the iphone would take advantage of.

you'll be getting an iphone in 2012, talk to you then.

Cingular/ ATT cell phones suck. They are java based. We don't even devolope games for them anymore. As content for phones gets higher res and more complex Cingular is going to be continuously behind the curve. waaaaay behind.

    Enjoy your bitchen new iPhones!!

my blackberry/at&t load is pretty decent here, but then again i've heard that texas is the exception (totally sucks when i'm in the north east) and everyone agrees their network is slow.

i say wait 9 - 12 months for it to go to multiple providers with better networks.

frankly i find the idea of a $600 ipod retarded.

I can get online with my Smartphone and view full webpages now at faster than dial up speeds. The only thing it can't handle is flash content. If this WindowsMobile phone can do it, I don't see why the iPhone couldn't.

I have no clue what AT&T offers.

I think it has to do with the area you are in. EDGE is decently fast, but I live in Iowa, so there isn't EDGE everywhere. Most areas have their shitty, shitty regular data coverage.
