cue fat jokes
i'm actually interested in this one. everything i've read says this is the film that he moves the focus on to the subject matter, letting the sorry state of the health industry communicate it's own failings rather than mr. moore forcefully structuring in the way he's done previous stuff.
should be interesting.
We all know just how much this country sucks when it comes to health care.
It even sucks more when you think you have health insurance only to find out you really don't or you have to fight to get a claim payed

Interesting film, from an outsiders viewpoint i'm really shocked at how bad you have health care. We bitch and moan the NHS all day long but it's free and we get looked after, which in the end is all that matters. I'm curious as to how the public react to it, and yes it's definitely Moore taking a step back from the in your face-ness of fahrenheit which makes for a more palatable film.
commies!
I love MM, so I will watch this.. I think the reason I like MM so much is he makes me glad I am a Canadian. Or more specifically, makes me glad I am not living in the United States!
If ya'll Americans ever kick MM out of the country we will gladly take him!
i'm going to chime in, before seeing this flick, and make a quick comment.
the US health care is actually some of the best in the world. don't confuse the systems that make that care available and the actual knowledge base that exists here. maybe its just semantics. granted, availability, or perceived availability is a big deal, but there isn't really anywhere else in the world i'd rather be operated on.
additionally, while everyone has their opinions on health insurance and debate whether there should be state funded versus private, it's actually kinda difficult to get refused care even if you have no way of paying for it. it's one of the reasons why states like california and texas are so strained financially - tons of uninsured immigrants getting "free" healthcare.
i'm not going to get into a debate and am sure a lot of people who know more than i do will chime and this will become a few pages of back and forth.
still very interested in seeing this flick
