The Netflix Player by Roku | Netflix Instantly on your TV
im pretty happy with netflix so far. never really planned on keeping it until i could rewatch some movies i had on vhs, but i think it's worth it now. and i just got a nice big samsung 32" yesterday (!!!!!!) so i really wanted to see how the netflix box worked. only a hundred bucks. but then, if you have a dvd/vhs player + netflix box + apple tv + whatever i just seems like too much crap! guess it'll always be like that

and the cool thing about the netflix box is that it has wifi/wired hdmi, composite. doesn't seem like a negative deal at all. and they keep adding all of those law and order seasons...........

damn.
that thing rules. i may get one then I may actualy watch the 24 hours of downloads i get a month that i can't on my mac.

yep! that's a pretty new thing... maybe since 2 months ago. you used to only get some crappy amount of hours a month, like 12. but now, you can watch unlimited. and plus we're lucky cause the northwest distro center is in salem, so if they don't have it on watch it now you can get the dvd in a day

Netflix watch instantly is the future, but if I'm remembering right, the quality of selection is kind of crummy right now because of rights for older stuff being caught up in TV syndication contracts.
But, there's a lot of really good old classics on there. The original 12 Angry Men is on there, and I can't hate on that.
