So it looks like we lost everything since some point on the 21st.

vBulletin is generally pretty stable, and the traffic here is not that intense. I don't know any reason why this site should be so unstable, but it seems like it goes down an awful lot.

I don't know your relationship to you hosting provider, ToxicGoblin.com, is, but I'd seriously consider seeking another host.

How much do you pay?

I'm not giving Clay any grief at all.

I'm saying the site is not very stable, and what should be done to resolve that? Descent hosting costs about $10-$15 a month- usually less than an internet connection (I don't know exactly what I pay for RoadRunner, it's bundled into my cable bill, but I think it's about $35+).

I'm just saying that it could be worth it to seek another hosting provider.

Geocities? Really?

Hell, I'll throw in a few buck to help, if anyone else here will match me. Anyone interested in helping upgrade the hosting? I'll pitch in $40-$50. If 6 or 8 people pitch in $40-$50 we could move the site to a more stable host and pay the year in advance.

GP is stable as you like, Clay announced several days ago that the server was going to be moved so there would be some downtime, some comments got lost? ah well, there's enough mentions of bacon and Elroi to last a lifetime anyway.

The only other time I can remember the site going down was due to a hacker I think?
