    My uncle giving me my first ride on a skateboard. Summer 1975. All downhill after that... no pun intended. Yes, I'm chillin' in my underwear. I was on my way to my 10' Scooby Doo pool when he showed up with his board.

    Let me do some digging... I have a picture of his homebrew longboard made out of a water ski. He and his friends used to downhill in the mountains around Denver... dressed exactly the way he's dressed in that picture.

    We caught this a few weeks back at Anti Social. A great film about girls who skate from Laura Thornhill and Peggy Oki in the 70's through today. Bonus points for tons of Oregon footage.
