A dude I work with just bought the 883 Iron which is essentially the smaller version and he loves it.

Honestly though I needed to buy a bike I could afford and it fell down to that Nighster and the Triumph that I bought.

The Triumph felt better, more substantial under me. But that's me. The stock seat on the Nightster is uncomfortable. You'll probably want to replace it right away.

Man- that must be one uncomfortable stock seat. I've had several peeps tell me to replace it.

That 883 Iron is sick! Ima have to check it out since I'm looking for something that feels snug.

2007 Triumph Bonneville

I've been designing a Jap inline four chopper in my head using a Honda 1000 or KZ engine, & doing a Road Warrior crossed with Shawn Kerri artwork chopper, but then I found this on craigslist,... ad has been up a week,... if this is still around & it fits my girthy manliness, it may have to happen.

This week has been great. Got caught in a bunch of rainstorms the last few days, and I don't care. Bike is running great, and it's getting warmer every day.

Took Josh for his first bike ride at the beginning of the week, finally found a kids helmut, then picked him up from school on friday, he was pretty cool compared to the rest of the kids in their soccermom mobiles.

Hayden won't make a podium all season. Shit just isn't werking...bad shit from the start...

I don't follow WSBK that much. News and highlights... maybe watch a race here and there. This year I might pay a little more attention than before just to see how Spies is doing. I stick mostly to the four-wheels. Specifically, F1 and tiny bits of various others (sports cars, Indy, etc). Got turned on to MotoGP a handful of years ago, but my interest hasn't branched out to AMA or WSBK. Too many different bike series for me to follow. I had to keep it simple.

There off to Monza next, though, right? I'll probably set the Tivo for that one. I'm a sucker for a great track.

I hosted the GP viewing brunch today. We were all screaming at Lorenzo for loosing it. I wanted to see something good from him today. Yeah, Nicky isn't looking that great out there. But for that matter it still seems like Casey is the only guy who can ride it with any effectiveness. Look at the difference with Melandri this year! He came in 5th today on an inferior bike and was in the same boat as Hayden last year with the Duc. I have my theories on what is going on there. It's all about the electronics IMO.

I follow WSBK and F1 as well and will go to AMA races because its fun to watch the bikes live but have lost interest in following it. No NASCAR.
