I guess If I had to buy a knock-off I'd get a Honda Shadow simply because I had a Honda CB650 and it ran forever until user error fucked it up. I trust the Honda brand as far as mechanical reliability...

The kid with the bloody palms is a Cycle Zombie. His family has a fleet of pretty bitchin' bikes.

He was wearing gloves just not the right ones.

A dude I work with just bought the 883 Iron which is essentially the smaller version and he loves it.

Honestly though I needed to buy a bike I could afford and it fell down to that Nighster and the Triumph that I bought.

The Triumph felt better, more substantial under me. But that's me. The stock seat on the Nightster is uncomfortable. You'll probably want to replace it right away.

have a chance to buy a Nighthawk with no 4th gear for a song, is it worth trying to fix a tranny on one? it's an 83 in good shape, could buy for less than 500...
