I *might* have the opportunity to trade my CB450 for a CB750 soon... any pros/ cons to that?
bigger bike means I can get out on the highway...

DO IT!!!! No question.
Meh, 750's are pretty cheap theses days, I'd say buy one and keep the 450.
Here the insurance jumps big over 600ccs, then again at 1000cc
I got to charge my battery, the bike has been sitting for 2 months since the snow started.
Planning on running the coast down to California, then back up through the mountains this summer sometime. Can't wait till winter is over.
my insurance is 130 dollars cheaper than last year. it dropped by 1/3. 200 bucks a year now.

that makes my back sore just looking at it.
do people actually ride these things anywhere other than down their driveway and to the corner?
and here's what I don't understand....the average guy who will buy one of these is going to also be the guy who thinks sunglasses and a beanie helmet or a backwards ballcap is all the riding gear they need.
So, with hundreds of horsepower throbbing beneath their legs, and the ability to go 130-140 mph, how the fuck do they see at that speed without a full face. anything above 60 mph without a windscreen and your neck is bent back at a permanent tilt.
that bike looks retarded.
i take my windshield off in the summer but will put it on for long rides. i really should own a full face helmet too but all i got is a half.
The riding stance on that Victory looks like it might be similar to the VRod... more upright/clamshell than you might think.
Here's the only "New" Harley you'll see this year with another similar looking model with a smaller tank in about another year.
