temporary assembly of powdercoated frame and forks, working on the gears and some polishing... going faster than I expected... gotta slow down, this is supposed to be a winter project... plus I gotta space out the $ cash flow...

So far I like it yes. Most of the riding I do is in city though so I'm never on it for more than 30-40 min at a time. The new bar works with the stock cables so I'd probably put the stock bar on if I was going for a multi-hour trek. Maybe not. We'll see.

Careful out there. I just narrowly avoided death. I don't even know how I fucking made the bike do what it did to get me out of it but that was not a fun way to start the day. At all.

Way too common. Only been riding for a year and a half and have almost been killed a couple of times, no shit. Dumb-ass drivers not paying attention.

Almost ate it last weekend when a 70-year-old woman too preoccupied with her cigarette to bother checking her mirrors tried to share the fast lane with me at 70mph. Thought about following her, then decided screaming "Fuck you!" at a senior citizen might not be as fully satisfying as I'd like. A reminder to continue operating as if everyone is trying to kill me ...
