I got a new drag style handlebar bar for my Bonneville. According to the website I ordered it from it's supposed to be compatible.

My throttle works fine with stock bar. After installing the drag bar my throttle stuck BAD. The black powder coating made it too thick for the throttle housing to float around the bar. So, I sanded the black coating off the bar on the throttle end and it's still seems to be fractions of an inch too thick and the throttle still sticks BAD. Tried lubing the bar, no dice. My stock bars are back on cuz I need my ride and the throttle works fine.

I read on another forum to move the throttle housing down some but the bar is really short and there's no room. The only time it works proper is when it's completely off the bar.

    Annoyed. Suggestions?

Yeah... that seems to be the consensus... next time I get out to my Pop's house (soon) I'll bring it along. He's got a grinder.
