for like the next year and a half with no hope of escape, i might as well be positive about the experience. always look on the bright side of life and all that. flying back was truely fun and enjoyable. being stuck on the tarmac for an hour waiting to take off was spiffy. it was so nice of british airways to give us kids in the cheapseats, extra tv channels. i got to watch chocolate instead of the ant bully and i was happy. and i really enjoyed the body sounds and smells of the guy sitting across the aisle from me. i took a shower and brushed my teeth before starting my journey, i only wished he did the same. and the fantastic belches he let out in a pretty constant stream were way better than listening to the inflight radio. and let me tell you how it filled my heart with happiness to return to my cute little flat and find every pillow on our bed covered in mold. it's nice to be reunited with my husband but a million times more fun to see my old friend mold. since i managed to get home early despite the vast delay conspiracy, i went out and treated myself to all new pillows.
