I have that and HIGHLY reccommend it to anyone with a vinyl collection. Its basically a plug and play vinyl ripper, super easy to use and comes with a really easy to use editing program. It also can function as a record player too.

No. You have to put it together when it comes. That means setting the balance of the needle and arm etc. Ive never done it before but figured it out on my own and with the help of the directions basically in my first attempt.

Also, the needle it comes with records very clean and plays nicely too.

Personally, I think the price is low for the quality of the machine and I cant think of a better, cheaper way to digitize my vinyl. Especially those records that are only on vinyl.

that's really not a bad price.
my buddy has a record store here and offers the service but it's still expensive due to someone having to sit there and monitor each track.

Ya, when you can do it by yourself, in your own house, whenever you want, it makes the low price even more awesome. Plus if you dont like the way it recorded, you can always just do it again until your happy.

someone really needs to make a simple RCA>USB powered converter that we can hook up to our existing turntables and rip it to the harddrive.
