that's like saying, I tried to like posters, but nah, shit hanging on the wall with a date and a venue on it, didn't work for me.
c'mon, in a field that spans fom Naked City, Ornette Coleman and Sun Ra on one side and maybe King Oliver and Fats Waller on the other side, there will be some "jazz" also for you 2 punkers (make that one punk and one prog-rocker).

I love Ornette Coleman. And Fats Waller. I am not a moran.

However I just don't have the time anymore, to wade through the hours upon hours of honking showoff bullshit to find the moments of brilliance. The reward-to-frustration ratio is just too low for me to be "into" jazz. I tune 95% of it out.

Case in point:
Ornette, Town Hall 1962: sheer brilliance.
