i am a fan of the giant squid. i was just reading about that fella. he's all chilly. a few months ago i saw some nature show about them, sort of trying to dispel myth from reality since they live so deeply it's hard to study them. they interviewed a few divers who had been attacked by super huge squid underwater. basically a diver would be working then a couple would just appear, chomp on, wrap around and start pulling down really fast. it sounded amazingly scary and (uhhh) kinda cool. you know. if you survived.

I am a fan of them also, they're definitely pretty cool characters.
