It's for pedestrians really, in all its cobbled (and pre-car) goodness. A few movies have used that particular street for the odd location shoot, Sir Ian McKellen was doing one before Xmas. I think some cars do head down that way to use it as an access road, but it's rare.

Plus Pacman is in the way.

Not as far as I know, although I don't really keep up with the current East Anglian vernacular! The Laines are in Brighton, aren't they? Norwich is okay - it's got its good and bad bits but then again, so has anywhere else. Some nice old buildings, plus loads of curry houses
