My War & Damaged--- Worn many copies of these albums out over the years...

Saw them a few times... most memorable was during the Slip It In tour when they had long hair and were playing slow stuff off of side 2 of the My War album... Skins were standing at the front of the stage flipping the band off, and the whole time Rollins was standing there front stage in their face... Ginn had a huge smile on his face...

As for Who's got the 10 1/2..... If you look at the front cover in the center, the number for the record store in Omaha I used to run is written on the calender... The owner of the place was the promoter for the show... We'd get people calling all the time

Dude, I know. But for the record, I'm 38! (Ha!)

I DID see Black Flag about 80 times in the My War / Slip It In era and it was awesome, and little scary since I was only 16 or 17.

When I was 16, I wrote to Henry because my friends and I were starting a "punk band" and we wanted to cover Depression. I couldn't get all of the lyrics off the record so I wrote to ask him for them. He wrote back immediately:

"Dear Jeff,
Fuck covers. Do your own shit.
Love,
Henry"
