Yeah there was an article about that in the NYTimes sunday.
Alan Moore had them take his name off the credits.
Apparently he is notoriouly anti-hollywood and rather cranky
about it.
There was a good quote from his collaborator, David Lloyd,
"when we sold the story to the studios we had no expectations
that they would care for it like it was the Dead Sea Scrolls."

I'm so hoping this will be good, the comic book is amazing, like all of moores work. I'm just worried those Matrix fool brothers are going to mess it all up.

Ordinasrily id be all over it I love dystopian films where shit blows up but I cant get past the goofy looking Guy Fawkes mask the guy wears.

Did you read the series? Moore is the king,... I have no hope for the movie at all,...

Ah, yes, "sold the story".

I love Moore's work, but if he really has a problem with what they do to his stories why not say no?

I still got excited to hear that "The Watchmen" will finally be given a movie treatment--though I have no idea how they'd approach that one!
