    Default holy mother of minnesota...

winter came back. this morning. woke up, watched the news to see if the university was closed (wasn't), so i went to go to work. then had to help two neighbors dig their cars out of where they were stuck in the alley and then shovel a path from my garage, down the alley, to the street. i don't know if our house just faces a wacky way or something, but it was like drifted back there! my pants are wet to the knees. bedraggled? YES. definitely yet.

now i just have to figure out how in the hell we're going to load out and get everything in my car for flatstock when the loading dock will be inaccessible and the parking lot at our studio-de-crap will likely NOT be plowed. at all. ever.

i looked out the window this morning and just called work and said "nope, not today."

i didn't want to drive across town, and weave through all the crashed busses. i'm going to pack up stuff this morning, then maybe shovel, and then see where things are this afternoon.

I walked to work, took the skyway most of the way here and gave the finger to all the aholes in their SUVs who thought they could just muscle through the snow and ended up kissing embankments and f-ing up traffic for everyone.

65 here right now. AWESOME weather. I just talked to Letta sounds crappy up there. She has wet pants and a soggy cell phone.
I wait to get aids as of Scrojo... Thanks!

Yeah, I think this is pretty much the worst of the year thus far. My wife had to drive 2.5 hours to get to her office (normally about 30 minutes).

Looking forward to having a beer and being warm in Texas.

wet pants = COLD! if i could have stayed home or been readying for flatstock, i would, but not enough vacation time and weather doesn't count as a sick day at my job
