Like anything it's work but, It's good to get back to basics once in awhile.
I always think about doing some shows that have a good turn out and selling tri tip sanwiches. I use to do it for a bike shop here in town whenever they had mountain bike races. Every time I did it the next year would get better and better. The last one they did I made more money then the bike race. There not doing them anymore.

She will start selling them in a couple of weeks if anyone is interested. Shoot, I'll even give you a couple to try if you don't believe me. Or ask HUNT, he'll tell ya.

Man, making tamales is a lot of hard work. Keep your hands out of the mix and don't mess her up, Henry.

I think it's $6.50 a dozen... but definitely no more than $7. A dozen can feed about three people.

RIGHT! I've been telling her for years, but she thinks its a fair price. My mom is a really, really nice lady, and I think that's why people keep coming back to her.

we ordered a mess of tamales for our wedding last year. goat cheese, pork, poblano. wonderful stuff in their own right but still don't measure up to old fashioned red and green homemade stuff. i love em all except for those damn rasin ones (ugh!)

My Aunt sold tamales for about 7-8 years every year about this time and stopped a couple years back. She would always sell them for about $14.00 - $16.00 and every year
like clock work the same people would come back.

It not a hard sell. It's hard to keep up with the orders when they come in
