I still find it funny that the entertainment media can't seem to comprehend that some people are not interested in fame (interviews, publicity, etc) or making every buck possible (merchandising, "comebacks", etc):

I saw one at costco. It looks killer, three huge books, leather covers etc. It's all chronological so you have six black and white strips then the ful color "sunday" strip. All are set against a bone background so they look like they're cut out and laying on top.

i'm a sucker for those collections.... there's a 1st volume of old Dennis the Menace strips out, too. Like, back when the art was pretty kickass. (56, maybe?)... new volume of the Fantagraphics Peanuts collection is due out soon, too.
